I normally visit this Starbucks on Villa Maria weekly, but my most recent experience was absurd. I ordered a caramel ribbon crunch through the drive-thru, and it was completely melted—more like watery milk than a frappe. I immediately went inside to politely ask for a remake, as this was not what I paid for. The employee then tried to blame me, claiming my modification of adding chocolate drizzle 'dilutes' the drink. She then slowly poured the drink down the drain claiming for it to not be melted when it was clearly runny. I've ordered this exact drink with the same modification at least 20 times, and this has never happened before. While waiting for my new drink, I noticed employees reusing drinks that hadn't been picked up yet from inside and serving them to drive-thru customers by simply retagging them. This made me wonder if that's what happened to my original drink—that they just added chocolate drizzle to an old one. Even after the remake, my drink still wasn't correct; they missed several modifications that were clearly listed on the sticker. The employee who assisted me was incredibly rude and definitely needs to be addressed.

Slow and lazy with zero communication skills. The drinks were ready for like 10 minutes, all the order needed was a muffin and a croissant but that's too much I guess. Unfortunately I had somewhere to be, so thanks for wasting my time and gas.

Two weeks ago, TWO drinks I paid for were made incorrectly. I called immediately and spoke with someone who assured me it would be handled. When I returned expecting a simple replacement — just ONE drink — I was denied. That is unacceptable. I live a very busy life. I do not have time to chase down corrections for mistakes that were not mine. When a company makes an error, the resolution should be immediate and professional — not dismissive. My time, mileage, and money matter. If Starbucks cannot stand behind a basic product replacement after acknowledging a mistake, that speaks volumes about your commitment to customers. At this point, I no longer trust the consistency of the product or the integrity of the service. I will be taking my business elsewhere — Seven Brew and PJ’s value customers and correct mistakes without argument. Do better.

The customer service here was SO GOOD!!! I went to a different Starbucks today for the new matcha loaf, but they were out so I just got my coffee & then headed to the Villa Maria Starbucks for the loaf (I know- big back of me). Once I got to the villa maria store, I realized my coffee hadn't been made right at the other location, so I asked them if I could just have a side of cold foam to add in myself, and this location said they'd instead completely remake the drink for free, even though the mistake hadn't been their fault. I was so blown away by this! They were genuinely so happy to do it despite me not even asking them to, and the drink was amazing! I mean look at the photo! 🤍
